Must have 8 Months experience
To handle cases within the parameters set for a Paralegal. To maximise profits through ensuring own cases are dealt with to a high technical standard. To support your department manager, team manager and team in implementing case handling procedures, and ensuring all staff are fully aware of the technical issues, which must be adopted to ensure that the teams function is maintained. Ensure all cases handled directly meet the high level of Customer Service expected. Skills and Knowledge required: General skills: Excellent spoken and written communications skills Ability to take on large amounts of complex information High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Good organizational and time management skills Computer and admin skills Respect for confidential information Customer care Ability to keep calm under pressure Ability to build good working relationships with people at all levels of the business be willing to take on responsibility research skills Technical Skills: RTA bulk volume work BTE ATE cases Civil Procedural Rules General understanding of Insurance principles Good working knowledge of PI and ULR claims handling processes Value soft tissue injuries accurately Assess loss of earnings Negotiation with third party insurers Experience of working with MOJ portal
