PRE-Sales consultant for a leading Accounting Software company which has experienced tremendous growth. You should be part qualified accountant with CIMA or another professional body. It is also anticipated that the individual will have completed a degree course in a business/finance/economics/IT or related area. Will be proficient in Microsoft Windows 2000/XP, Microsoft Excel (preferably including VBA macro?s), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Access), In addition experience at an ?administrator? level in the use of any or all of the following would be an advantage:- Extensity/Geac/Comshare products (MPC/Decision/FDC), Financial Modelling software, Oracle 8/9 RDMS, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Hyperion HFM/Planning/Essbase Cartesis Carat or Magnitude, Outlooksoft Everest, Cognos Planning (formerly Adaytum Planning) or Consolidation(formerly Frango). your role will be to support the direct sales team and extensity partners in presenting/training/demonstrating Extensity?s product suite to senior managers/directors of major blue chip companies. These demonstrations may be standard or bespoke nature and you will be expected to fully participate in the preparation/delivery of such presentations. There will be travel. 1st class opportunity.
